Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall with broncos jersey testified in the trial of a man charged with killing teammate Darrent Williams.
Marshall was at times emotional when he testified Friday about the shooting on New Year’s Day 2007, recalling how he later saw former teammate Javon Walker in a bloodstained shirt at a hospital, clutching a necklace that belonged to Williams.“JWalk just kept looking at this chain, he wouldn’t let no one hold the chain,” he said. “It was scary; there was blood on that chain.”
Marshall, who was not in the limo when Williams was shot, said he later got a phone call from someone telling hom what happened.

The six will ace the exams
Most of the elite in the NFL think that the most important part of the combine is the player workouts. Now the day is coming up. The six players with NFL jerseys will have their exams.
Tight ends and offensive linemen work out on Saturday. Quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers will display their skills on Sunday. Defensive linemen and linebackers will be on the field Monday. The defensive backs will then take the stage on Tuesday. Although some players will choose to bypass the drills here—opting to work out at their pro days—many NFL personnel men feel that’s a mistake.
"If you get a chance to compete, then compete," 49ers G.M. Scot McCloughan said. "It doesn’t matter if it’s dominoes, the Senior Bowl or coming here. My personal feeling is you can’t hurt yourself; you can only help yourself."

NFL hopes to test for HGH
NFL want to test players with NFL jerseys for human growth hormone, and Major League Baseball has started talks with its union to investigate the test that led to the suspension of a British rugby player.
NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said Wednesday that the league had made a proposal to its players in January regarding HGH. Discussions are ongoing, he said. “Our position is that HGH testing has advanced to the point where we are taking steps to incorporate it into our program,” Aiello said. “We have proposed it to the union.” “We believe in and collectively bargained for a system that supports the testing of all banned substances,” he said.
“I’d prefer urine testing. It’s easier, especially for people who are afraid of needles,” said infielder Josh Vitters, the Chicago Cubs’ top draft pick in 2007.

The argument for the blood testing for HGH
The NFL and the union of the players with NFL jerseys cant reach an agreement on a big issue beyond the current labor battle over the collective bargaining agreement.
However, there’s no teeth to that ban since there’s no testing currently. "Our position is that HGH blood-testing has advanced to the point where we are taking steps to incorporate it into our program," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told the Post. Meanwhile, the union’s stance hasn’t changed. At this point, there’s no reason to believe that blood-testing for NFL players will or should be implemented," NFLPA assistant executive director of external affairs George Atallah said. "We should instead focus on preserving the drug-testing policy that we have in place."
NFLPA executive director Gene Upshaw was also against blood testing for HGH.

Browns have a relax limit on free agent costs
The Cleveland Browns do not want to trace the footsteps of AFC North rivals to approaching free agency with a self-imposed salary cap.
Unlike the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens, who have both stated that they’ll have an internal limit on free agency spending, the Browns are going into the signing period with a different philosophy. "We’ll spend what we think we need to spend and be smart about it," general manager Tom Heckert told the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "We’re going into it thinking we’ll do what we need to do." "We have to be prepared just in case something does get done," Heckert said. "We’re going to do what we think we need to do. We’re not looking at it either way.
They feel whom can help them, they will go out and do it. We want to see how many guys will wear browns jersey.

Cribbs is confident with the new contract
Josh Cribbs with browns jersey signed a new contract with the team, both sides are optimistic about the guy with the team.
The sides have the framework of a three-year deal that would replace the three years left on Cribbs' current contract, but they are continuing negotiations on the amount of guaranteed money, according to the sources. Cribbs wants around $10 million guaranteed, but the Browns have offered just half of that at this time. Still, there is a sense that gap could be bridged in a few negotiating sessions, and much of the complicated issues -- a multi-layered bonus and incentive structure based on playing time and performance at various positions (special-teams returns, tackles, receptions, rushing yards as the option quarterback, etc.) -- essentially are completed.

Browns must utilize Cribbs much
Josh Cribbs 's potential is more covered. the Browns and team president Mike Holmgren must maximize his value.
There are some big problems, such as the quarterback position and the futures of both Brady Quinn and Derek Anderson, but getting that deal done with Cribbs is something that needs to be addressed. Cribbs was in the backfield, in the slot and outside the numbers in certain situations where he is on the field to get the football. But stay away from situations and formations that label him as a gadget guy. He has to be active on offense, if the Browns plans to invest the money in him.
Hope this guy with browns jersey would have his day.

Memphis is instead of Ronnie
Memphis Grizzlies pushed Ronnie Brewer out from the rost and he will wear the jazz jersey in the first-round draft pick.
The trade completed just before the 1 p.m. MST deadline Thursday should open up some room in a position where the Jazz are well-stocked and reduce the club’s luxury tax burden. But it is costing the Jazz’s first-round pick in the 2006 draft who has started every game this season and averaged 9.5 points. “We felt like we gain an asset for drafts coming up,” Jazz general manager Kevin O’Connor said Thursday. “We felt like we had a lot of players that were similar.”
Thomas thought it's a little too fresh for him to really have a good handle on his feelings right now.

Felton leads Bobcats win over Wizards
Raymond Felton with bobcats jersey said “I wasn’t even thinking about my ankle at the time. I was just thinking about trying to win the game, whatever it took,” Felton said, seconds after he limped across the locker room. “But I’m paying for it now.”
“I was just trying to attack and get inside the lane,” Felton said. “Randy Foye did a good job of cutting me off, so I just tried to make a move to separate away from him. I got some space and I took the shot.”
Coach Larry Brown said they really needed it and they had Michael and Mr.Johnson in the stands.

Bears make Marinelli defensive coordinator
The Chicago Bears lifted Rod Marinelli to defensive coordinator while rounding out their coaching staff. Players with bears jerseys.
Coach Lovie Smith announced the move Friday and called Marinelli “among the best defensive coaches in the NFL.” “From the first day I became head coach of the Chicago Bears I envisioned Rod as our defensive coordinator,” he said. “I considered him for the role last year, but wanted him to have the opportunity to work exclusively with our defensive line and become acclimated to our team.” “I’m very excited,” Marinelli told chicagobears.com. “The defensive staff has all worked together, so it’s just a chance to keep going and build on the subtleties of our system. We’ve all been in it together and I think the familiarity will help.”

Samuel Dalembert is building classroom
Samuel Dalembert has been a busy man since the earthquake in Haiti. He has visited his home country with a charity mission and been doing everything possible to help the thousands of people troubled by the disaster.
He plans to build a center for children that will include recreation facilities, classrooms, a computer center and a cafeteria. But he needs to put off a lot of work. "I’m not focusing on [trade rumors] right now," he said. "I’m trying to maximize my talent and help us to win. I’m done trying to point fingers or anything like that. When I came forward last year, people took it the wrong way, tried to make it seem like I was complaining. I don’t like complaining. I like consistency."
Hope this guy with 76ers jersey also do a good job in basketball.
