According to an NFL source with knowledge of the situation, players with vikings jerseys will played with Chris Cook as a a private workout.
Over the past week, Cook has also had private workouts with the New England Patriots and the Miami Dolphins. Cook was sick before his recent Pro Day workout and visited a doctor for flu-like symptoms 36 hours before his NFL audition, according to a league source. Cook drew criticism from NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock for getting "winded" during his positional drills with SI.com’s Tony Pauline writing that NFL coaches had to coax cook to pick up the tempo.
Per our source, Cook didn’t make excuses for his lack of energy and breathing issue and didn’t want to not work out because he wasn’t 100 percent.

Darren Sproles reports for duty
Darren Sproles with chargers jersey showed much up for the team's voluntary offseason training program.
The restricted free agent isn’t required to report, so this is a positive sign in the wake of San Diego assigning the high tender to Sproles. Since Sproles hasn’t signed with the deadline not until April 15 for teams to sign restricted free agents to offer sheets, he likely is participating under an injury waiver. The team also announded that Philip Rivers, Jacques Cesaire, Jeromey Clary and Donald Strickland were in attendance.
It's still uncertain if other players who received the high tender are attending workouts.

Leon Washington's agent responds to comments
The agent for running back Leon Washington with jets jersey responded to coach Rex Ryan's criticism of Washington rehabbing his broken leg on Florida instead of the Jets' training facility.
"Leon is a bit taken back about the reports of him taking a reduced role in 2010, especially since we are 4 months from the opening of camp," Keels wrote in an e-mail to the New York Daily News. "However, Leon is focused on rehab right now so that he can be the dynamic player in 2010 that he has always been.
"How the Jets plan to use him is totally up to the coaching staff, he just wants to be totally prepared for whatever his role will be. Leon has always been a team player and that isn’t going to stop now. Coaches tend to find a way to utilize a guy with his play making ability."

BIg Ben is in trouble
The best thing for Ben Roethlisberger with steelers jersey may is Tiger Woods at the moment.
Big Ben is being investigated by the cops, called out by his coach and sometime soon, he’ll be sent to the commissioner’s office to explain why he keeps turning up in the wrong place at the wrong time. “I think it’s well known that we’re very, very conscious about how we do business,” Pittsburgh coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday at the NFL owners meeting. “We have a very high concern about our image and how we conduct ourselves that I think is above and beyond our peers, and we embrace that.”
Goodell said they take that issue very seriously.

Jerry West is not interested in Warriors
It is said that Jerry West involved with Ellison's bid but Jerry said he had nothing to do with the players with wizards jerseys.
West said he has not talked to Larry for a number of years but Frank Hughes reports he spoke with West days before the Warriors' announcement Monday that the team is for sale. Though he said he was not in the loop in the NBA, but this 71-year-old man has not closed the door on returning to the league. He says he sat back and watch the game from a distance. He watched the teams who are sliding. He look at plaves where there are opportunities to make enormous headway.
Golden State would seem to fit that latter criterion.

Owens considering three teams
Terrell Owens with bills jersey really lost the chance to be a member of Bengles.
With Antonio Bryant signed by the Bengals to a $28 million deal, the Bengals are no longer in need of a veteran receiver. Owens visited the Bengals, but wasn’t offered a contract. ”I don’t think it’s a realistic possibility and see how it would work playtime wise,” Owens’ agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told the Cincinnati Enquirer. "He liked his visit to Cincinnati a lot and we were very close to getting something done before they signed Antonio Bryant, but it was a real good experience.”

Tomlin concerned about Ben
Ben with steelers jersey was accused of sexual assault by a 20 year old female college student in Georgia and his coach Mike Tomlin was worried about his starting quarterback.
"I’m highly concerned for our franchise and for Ben personally," Tomlin said Saturday in Orlando, where the NFL meetings begin Monday. Milledgeville, Ga., police are still investigating the accusation and have not yet charged Roethlisberger with a crime. "My concerns are many," Tomlin said, "but I think at this time it’s kind of appropriate to watch these things and let these things run their course. I think it would be inappropriate for me to have strong feelings one way or another with the investigation being ongoing and so forth. Like everyone else, you watch these things unfold."

Saints fans to lose their tickets
The old press box is being replaced with 16 new luxury suites, according to the report.
Saints ticketing employees began calling the season-ticket holders who are being affected. The displaced fans will move to the front of the 50,000-person season-ticket waiting list, meaning they’ll be able to get new season tickets only if others choose not to renew. But the Saints think they’ll be able to accommodate all the displaced fans.
Michael Stanfield said they are working with these folks one-on-one and they thake it vey seriously.

Calvin Johnson believes in Lions
Receiver Calvin Johnson with lions jersey believes in what he can’t see.
“You always have to have faith things are going to get better,” Johnson said Thursday. “You can’t get down and think things won’t get better or they definitely won’t.” Detroit won just two games last season after going winless the previous year, the first time that’s happened to any NFL team. The Lions won seven games in 2007 after making Johnson the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL draft.“Losing always gets to you,” Johnson acknowledged.
Despite being regarded as one of the game’s best receivers—especially when he caught 12 touchdown passes and had 1,300-plus yards receiving two years ago— Johnson hasn’t been invited to play in the Pro Bowl.

Freddie Barnes tried his best
Wide receiver Freddie Barnes may ahs the chance to wear the NFL jersey. He is looking to defy the doubters.
Barnes shattered NCAA records last season when he caught 155 passes for 1,770 yards and 19 touchdowns. However, his 40-yard dash time in the 4.6 range has raised questions about his ability to gain separation from NFL cornerbacks.“Freddie Barnes is a football player, not a track athlete,” Brad Cicala, Barnes’ agent, told National Football Post. “He’s a great football player who runs by people in games. He doesn’t play at 4.6. He doesn’t play at the same speed in a game. This kid can play football.”
The 6-foot,206-pounder was a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award last season.

Fear the deer
Some fans with bucks jersey signs 'Fear the deer'at the Bradley Center and an electronic billboard by the highway near downtown Milwaukee.
“I love the little ‘Fear the Deer’ thing,” rookie guard Brandon Jenningssaid. “It’s pretty awesome.” It’s not quite clear where the Bucks’ catchy new slogan originated. Someone thought it came from ESPN’s “SportsCenter,” but the network couldn’t say for sure.
Either way, it has been quite a while since the Bucks have struck anything approaching fear in their opponents. After making the playoffs in 2005-06, they didn’t win more than 34 games in any of the next three seasons.

Shawn Marion's situation
Shawn Marion wanted to took off his suns jersey because he was not getting enough credit for the team's success.
Marion got his wish, but he found out the hard way that life in Toronto and Miami was much tougher without strong teams around him. Now, in Dallas, he’s learning to sublimate his talents for the good of the team. From The Dallas Morning News: You got to sacrifice certain things to get that ultimate goal, and that’s a ring, the hardware," Marion said. "Once you get that hardware, nobody can say anything to you. That’s what I want my legacy to be. I want that ring."
"I’m a competitor. I want to go back at [players he guards], too. And sometimes you don’t get the chance to do that. But that’s what you sacrifice. And you got to deal with it. When you get that W, all the other stuff means nothing."

Amare Stoudemire did not want to think about the color of his nba jerseys next year. He just does it now.
Except, according to Stoudemire, that’s not on his mind right now. From Paul Coro of The Arizona Republic:Stoudemire said he wants to shelve contract-extension talks until after the season, when he also will have to make a decision about opting out of the final year of the deal, which would pay him $17.7 million. Rolle visits with big blue
Take a deep breath, because you are going to be overwhelmed with updates over the next 24 hours.
Several teams are currently in hot pursuit of free agent safety Antrel Rolle. But a front-runner could be emerging during these early-morning hours. According to Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Rolle is expected to meet with the New York Giants early Friday morning. And as we all saw last year, if you go to meet with the Giants, there is a good chance you’re signing a contract. Just ask Chris Canty.
Early report indicates that players with giants jerseys may be willing to meet the $8 million per year price tag the safety is targeting.

Vick's choice
Michael Vick may have another chance to choose his NFL jersey.
There remains a good chance the Eagles will shop at least one of their quarterbacks and if Vick is the one, and he has a choice, he’s got one team in mind. No, it’s not the St. Louis Rams, who have been prominently mentioned as a possible destination and certainly have a need for a quarterback. How about another NFC team with its own uncertain quarterback situation - the Carolina Panthers.
“If I could play for any team in the league, it would probably be two teams, but if I had to pick one, it would probably be the Carolina Panthers,” Vick said in an appearance on Hot 107.9 in Atlanta, according to the Charlotte Observer.
